Tamiya TXT-1
Tamiya · Scale 1/10
Notes
Ah yess one of the forefathers of modern day crawlers. This is the Tamiya Txt-1 (Tamiya extreme truck), although it may seem like a monster truck, that's not entirely true. This platform was used to create crawlers in the early 2000s, from insane articulation to 6x6 builds. Rocking thick straight axles, links and cantilever suspension setup, this was aching to be tuned for crawling. Oh did I mention the twin silver cans powering this?. Released in 2001 but discontinued in 2012 when the TXT-2 Agrios was released, TXT-1 had predecessors like the Juggernaut 2 and 1 along with the previous Clod buster which was also a popular motor on axle crawlers. I'm glad to own part of history, and show it to y'all. Ps- non of this is AI, I wrote what I researched ✌🏼
